Terms & Conditions
- All data collected during the course of the competition will be retained by CyberPeace Foundation.
- Data may be shared with the event sponsors/partners upon consent of the participants.
- Organisers will not be responsible for any damage to gadgets or belongings of the participants.
- CyberPeace Foundation will determine participation eligibility, declare winners (including but not limited to in the event of a tie), and award prizes in its sole and absolute discretion. You agree that such decisions are final and are not subject to review or reconsideration.
- Defaulting to join slack channel may result in disqualification of the team and team members.
- You understand and agree that photos, videos and/or other recordings may be taken during the Hackathon. You hereby grant the organisers the perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable, transferable right to copy, use, display and publish the photos, any videotaped, photographed, and/or recorded materials in which you appear in any online, electronic and/or print format (including but not limited any social media sites or platforms) for any educational and/or promotional purposes of CyberPeace Foundation and/or Global CyberPeace Challenge vendors, contractors, content partners and/or CyberPeace Foundation.
- At any time, in the sole and absolute discretion of CyberPeace Foundation, CyberPeace Foundation shall be entitled to disqualify a Participant and/or Team in the event of a failure to meet relevant eligibility criteria or any other violation or suspected violation of these Terms and Conditions.
- For any cash prizes awarded to a Team involving more than one participant, the concerned cash prize shall be given by CyberPeace Foundation to only the Team Leader so intimidated/designated by the concerned Team. The discretion of distribution of the cash prize among team members shall be solely left to the discretion to such designated Team Leader or such other arrangement as mutually agreed by the Team members.
- The Site, the Global CyberPeace Challenge, and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any claims or disputes relating to the Site, the Competition and/or these Terms and Conditions will fall solely and exclusively before the jurisdictional courts in New Delhi, India.
- This website of GCC may include links to third-party sites which are not under the control of the organisers. Organisers are not responsible for the content or operation of such sites, which may have their own terms. The inclusion of a link to a third-party site does not imply endorsement by the organisers.
- You may not assign, delegate or transfer your registration for the GCC and/or any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions. Any attempted assignment, delegation or transfer shall be void.
- These Terms and Conditions (which, for clarification, includes the Privacy Statement and all other terms incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions), together with any GCC registration represent your entire agreement with CyberPeace Foundation with respect to the GCC. These Terms and Conditions herein cannot be modified or changed except at sole and absolute discretion of CyberPeace Foundation.
- Indulgence with or any illegal gadget, toolkit, activity will lead to disqualification of the team and/or participant and will result in Legal actions against the team and/or participant.
- Submission deadlines will not be changed for any team or track.
- The terms and conditions are exclusive for GCC 4.0 competitions and operations only, these will not be applicable on CyberPeace Foundation otherwise.
- Participants and/or Team shall at all times, be mandated to adhere to the respective guidelines published against each track on the Website.

- Global CyberPeace Challenge 4.0 and its operations are protected under The Copyright Act 1957.
- CyberPeace Foundation retains all copyrights of Global CyberPeace Challenge and shall be the sole deemed organiser of the event.
- Any attempt or Reproduction and distribution of Global CyberPeace Challenge without the CyberPeace Foundation’s consent are prohibited.
- Any reference or attempt to/or from the Global CyberPeace Challenge should be credited to the CyberPeace Foundation.
- Any attempt, download, distribution, or publishing of any content of the Global CyberPeace Challenge without the owner’s permission may cause a legal action suit under Sec 14 of The Copyright Act, 1957.
