Terms & Conditions – Commonwealth-CyberPeace AI Grand Challenge 2025
1. Data Collection & Privacy
1.1. All data collected during the competition will be retained by CyberPeace Foundation.
1.2. Data may be shared with event sponsors/partners only with the explicit consent of the participants.
2. Liability & Responsibilities
2.1. The organisers shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to participants’ personal belongings, including electronic devices.
2.2. Participants are solely responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings during the event.
3. Participation & Disqualification
3.1. CyberPeace Foundation reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine participant eligibility, declare winners (including resolving ties), and award prizes. All such decisions shall be final and binding.
3.2. Failure to join the designated communication channel, as required for the competition, may result in disqualification of the participant and/or team.
3.3. CyberPeace Foundation reserves the right to disqualify any participant or team that fails to meet the eligibility criteria, violates these Terms & Conditions, or engages in any conduct deemed inappropriate.
4. Media & Publicity
4.1. Participants acknowledge and agree that photographs, videos, and other recordings may be taken during the competition.
4.2. By participating, participants grant CyberPeace Foundation and its partners an irrevocable, perpetual, sub-licensable, and transferable right to use, publish, distribute, and display such media content in any format (including but not limited to social media, websites, and print publications) for educational and promotional purposes.
5. Prize Distribution
5.1. In the case of a team winning a cash prize, CyberPeace Foundation shall release the prize amount only to the designated Team Leader.
5.2. The distribution of the prize amount among team members shall be the sole responsibility of the designated Team Leader or as mutually agreed upon by the team members.
6. Legal Compliance & Governing Law
6.1. Any involvement in illegal activities, unauthorized tools, or prohibited gadgets shall result in immediate disqualification and may lead to legal action.
6.2. Submission deadlines are final and will not be extended for any team.
6.3. These Terms & Conditions apply exclusively to the Commonwealth CyberPeace AI Grand Challenge 2025 and do not extend to other events or operations of CyberPeace Foundation.
6.4. Participants must comply with the specific guidelines published for the competition on the official website.
6.5. These Terms & Conditions, the competition, and all related matters shall be
governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
7. External Links & Third-Party Content
7.1. The official website may contain links to third-party websites that are not controlled by the organisers. CyberPeace Foundation is not responsible for the content, security, or terms of such third-party sites.
7.2. The inclusion of a link to a third-party site does not imply endorsement by the organisers.
8. Non-Transferability of Participation
8.1. Participants may not transfer, delegate, or assign their registration or any rights or obligations under these Terms & Conditions. Any such attempt shall be deemed null and void.
8.2. CyberPeace Foundation reserves the exclusive right to modify these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
Disclaimer
1. The Commonwealth-CyberPeace AI Grand Challenge 2025 is legally protected under The Copyright Act, 1957.
2. CyberPeace Foundation retains all copyrights and is the sole organiser of the event.
3. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or attempt to replicate the event without prior written consent from CyberPeace Foundation is strictly prohibited.
4. Any unauthorized download, publication, or distribution of competition content may result in legal action under Section 14 of The Copyright Act, 1957.
5. Any reference to the Commonwealth-CyberPeace AI Grand Challenge 2025 must provide proper credit to CyberPeace Foundation.
By participating in the Commonwealth-CyberPeace AI Grand Challenge 2025, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
